2013 MoscaStudio Wedding Season Revisited: Wedding Flower Trends!

Image
Every year, at the end of the wedding season, we gather all of the images of the bridal bouquets used by our wedding couples, and organize them into one big blog post. This year (better late than never!) is no exception. It's fun to see trends come and go as each season passes, but it's also interesting to see which colors and styles seem to be more timeless, remaining popular throughout the seasons. Below is this 2013 wedding season's flowers. Thank you SO much, as always, to all of the amazing florists in Portland! Every one of them is incredibly talented and possesses a unique style. I would have SUCH a hard time choosing a florist for myself! :) If you are curious about our 2012 wedding season wedding flower recap, here is the link to that blog post .  As usual, here are links to our favorite wedding florists in the Portland Oregon, Columbia Gorge areas. They are the ones we've worked with this year. There is something special about each of them! ...

Wedding Bouquet Trends in MoscaStudio's 2012 Wedding Season!

Image
Wedding bouquets are all beautiful! They reflect the bride's mood, style and personality. Florals are subjective and, while each year seems to see trends, they are all somewhat different. We love to photograph them! They are part of the whole adventure in wedding planning, and in the end, they complete a bride's attire. Here are a handful of the floral bouquets and arrangements witnessed and photographed by us here at MoscaPhoto , throughout our 2012 wedding season. May this post serve you as inspiration for your own upcoming wedding! If you need recommendations for incredibly talented wedding florists in the Portland area, scroll to right below the image collage! Sarah & Ian at their Blue Heron Herbary wedding on Sauvie Island

Image
Meet Sarah & Ian. They married on Sauvie Island, at the super fun Blue Heron Herbary . They dressed up and got dolled up downtown portland, at The Governor 's penthouse first, but then travelled to the island for their country wedding. She is sister to one of our favorite grooms ever from last season. This wedding was not only special to them, it was special to us as well! It was a a sort of mini reunion of sorts for us and her family... loved seeing everyone again!! Most everything was DIY in this wedding, from the muddlers as favors, to the flowers, to the wooden signs, to the delicious cake, and the wall of frames, too. The day started off super hot, with temperatures in the 90s, but then... the sun set and it was colorful and beautiful! Loved the wedding! Thank you Sarah & Ian for being so awesome! (Hi mom!!) ;)
