This was yet another GORGEOUS spring day in Portland. The sky was beautifully dramatic ... Angie & Daniel were willing to be as beautiful and goofy as they felt like being. We love that! We love it when our couples get comfortable enough to "make faces" and not feel "weird" about it ;) We started off near the Ace Hotel in downtown Portland, walked over to Powell's Bookstore and then drove to the Eastbank Esplanade , on the east side of the Willamette River. That's where the sky went crazy! Dark billowing clouds came in from all directions, the sun was peeking through AND we even had a beautifully bright rainbow! Then... HAIL! It seems as if we of MoscaPhoto truly have great luck when it comes to cooperating weather and our shooting schedule! Yesterday was the only time Barb & Keith could have their shoot (they live in Germany, just landed in Portland and are getting married next friday July 22nd!). Both they and we literally drove through torrential rain to get to our designated meeting spot at Portland's Eastbank Esplanade... when we got there, the rain stopped and stayed away for the entire time! Here are a handful of images from yesterday's shoot. We met in the evening to take advantage of the beautiful sunset-ish light and to give them time to drive to the airport right after, to pick up Keith's mom who was to fly over from England. Definitely on a tight schedule! haha! :) We did it though! And we couldn't be happier. We got to know them and laugh with them and give Keith a foot-tour of downtown Portland, which he enjoyed very much since it was his first time here! Their wedding ...

A super quick sneak peek of Becca & Andrew 's engagement session! It was great getting to chit chat with them during the shoot. They were super nervous during the shoot, but totally relaxed after a few minutes. Love it! :) We got to know each other super well and know now that their wedding will be flawless! We met up at Portland's Eastbank Esplanade on a beautiful evening, last week. That area of the city has so much to offer for industrial, urban, city photos. Plus, the cool sky totally made the shoot even more fun. This summer is shaping up to be just gorgeous! Hi everyone! We are in the full swing of things with booking for the upcoming wedding season and scheduling super fun and adventurous and casual and classy engagement sessions... this coming Monday January 17th 2011 is the first of several coming up! As soon as Monday comes along, we will have SO much new material to show you on here. We can't wait! I know that some of our clients are still brainstorming as to where to go for their shoot, so I am making a quick post with some photos of some of the most memorable and photogenic and beautiful locations we love to go to, for photos.
