Once again, Gorge Crest Vineyard did not disappoint. NOR did our beautiful couple, Tawny & Mike! They married there on 7.6.13 and it was glorious. The weather was a little on the hot side (it's July after all ;) but we adjusted our shooting schedule a bit, to make sure no one would be forced to be in the sun for more that a few minutes at a time. We love Gorge Crest and are so familiar with it... so much so that we are confident with being able to fit every part of a couple's wedding photography, without rushing nor stressing the couple with  having to do things at specific times. We had a GREAT time with Tawny and Mike and so did they! Especially during the party time with our FAVORITE DJ in the area ( DJ Dan Moe! ). Lacey and Jeff's wedding was gorgeous! Gorge Crest is always a perfect venue for weddings, with it's views and fun places to photograph in and around, but what really made this wedding extra fun, was the bride and groom. They are SWEETHEARTS and their whole group of people really made us feel comfortable while photographing the day. Loved it! Everything as far as decor and signage, was made by hand by Lacey herself. Her hair was done by a close friend. She did her own make up. The flowers were also the creation of a family friend. The wedding cake and dessert table? Her mom made baked it all! An incredible amount of team work made this wedding happen, and it was beautiful! An impressive  part of the day was Lacey's dress... it's BIG! It fit her perfectly, physically and with her personality. I picked it up to move it to take some photos of it, only to realize that it was the HEAVIEST dress I had ever seen! Steph and Phil and Max reeeeeally wanted views of Mt Hood for their wedding. What "won" was being right in downtown Portland though, so it was only natural for us to get out of the city for their engagement session. They were able to get Mt Hood views alright! ;) This was a couple of fridays ago, it was a beautiful summer day and we met up in the evening near Gorge Crest Vineyard. The view was incredible and Max was a blast to photograph too, what a sweet doggie! He had a few garbs to wear, just like mom ;) This is just a taste of the whole shoot and we are also so excited about THEIR wedding day in the summer fo 2013!

Another BEAUTIFUL wedding day at Gorge Crest Vineyard. This was our 6th wedding there (during this season alone) and it was the last one of the season for the venue itself. Well... we left the place with a bang! :) The rains held off {as they always do when MoscaPhoto photographs weddings... seriously! It's strange but we have this crazy aura around us that seems to protect our couples' wedding days from rain. Love it!} Not only did the rains hold off, the fall colors in the surrounding trees AND the beautiful copper-red hair on Lisa, made this wedding bright and colorful and warm. It was a moving day too: the first dance song they danced to is one of the few songs that Josh and I sing to each other lovingly... so you can only imagine the tears that were streaming out of me during it! The beautiful circular set up for the ceremony chairs, the colorful leaves and the bonfire really added to the general feel of peacefulness and unity. A beautifully unique-to-them wedding day....
