Meet Holly and Sean. They married in a sweet and simple little elopement in June, surrounded by a handful of their closest friends and family. We're SO excited to see them again, with a bigger group of friends, for their official reception party, in August! For now though, here is their elopement sneak peek :) Photography: Alice & Josh of  MoscaPhoto  (  +Mosca Photo  ) Location:  Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens , Portland OR Flowers:  Zupan's Markets Floral Department Holly's dress:  Ania Collection ** Friends and Family can see the full collection of images from their elopement and reception party by clicking on their gallery link here:  http://pictage.com/1451868  **

Gorge Crest wedding of Lacey and Jeff!

Image
Lacey and Jeff's wedding was gorgeous! Gorge Crest is always a perfect venue for weddings, with it's views and fun places to photograph in and around, but what really made this wedding extra fun, was the bride and groom. They are SWEETHEARTS and their whole group of people really made us feel comfortable while photographing the day. Loved it! Everything as far as decor and signage, was made by hand by Lacey herself. Her hair was done by a close friend. She did her own make up. The flowers were also the creation of a family friend. The wedding cake and dessert table? Her mom made baked it all! An incredible amount of team work made this wedding happen, and it was beautiful! An impressive  part of the day was Lacey's dress... it's BIG! It fit her perfectly, physically and with her personality. I picked it up to move it to take some photos of it, only to realize that it was the HEAVIEST dress I had ever seen! She told me it's a 70 pound dress... and it was! It's o...

'Tis the season (the beginning of it, anyway) for professionals in the wedding industry to come up with and organize and collaborate on inspiration shoots. These sessions are planned out to the T and are a huge deal! Many wedding vendors get together to make it happen, all for the benefit of future brides who might be looking for ideas for their own wedding. This past Friday September 16th, an amazing group of said vendors got together to make the first of several inspiration shoots come alive. Take a look at the list of amazing talented people who made this one happen. Each one of them worked hard to make it happen flawlessly while I ( photo ) and Karyn ( video ) worked hard at capturing the style and feel of the vignettes, for all to see and enjoy. The full post of the entire shoot will be shared with the world soon. For now, I wanted to share just a handful of images to give you a taste of what is to come. What a great shoot it was! The great masters of the industry in vol...

What can we possibly say about our gorgeous Summer 2011 couple, Sara & Dane ?  How about the fact that they are beautiful, they are adorable , they are adventurous , kind, fun and loving ... We are SO lucky to have them be a part of the ever-growing MoscaPhoto family! We met up with Sara and Dane in Camas (WA). We packed our gear in their car and headed out for the 1 and a half hour drive through the mountains, on dirt roads, while bonding even more! Jokes, stories, laughs... so fun! Then we reached the trailhead. 2 or 3 hours later, we had practically hiked that entire mountain top, stopping everywhere we could, to take photos of the two of them, in this amazing middle-of-nowhere wilderness.  Silver Star Mountain  (click to view our map!) is north of Camas, Washington and its the location where Sara and Dane had their first ever date !  What a special place it is to them, what a gorgeous place it is for photographs and what an unforge...
