Wedding Day on the South Waterfront in Portland.

Image
Amey & Israel are married! There were only about 50 guests attending, making it a super relaxed and personable day for our bride and groom. The day was sunny and warm and it went on without a glitch. Many thanks for the other vendors who helped make the day flawless (listed below). Amey wore super cute red shoes for a splash of color to accompany her short cocktail style wedding dress. Notice her bouquet too! She wasted something BIG and FLASHY... we got it! A cascading ensamble of orchids, bunny ears and eucalyptus. Loved it! Here is a sneak peek of the day... have a beauuuutiful honeymoon/road trip, you two! <3 ;) Design and Coordination: Luxe Event Productions, Misty Damico http://luxeproductionsnw.com/ Cake: Cakeway to Heaven, Claudia Renz http://www.cakewaytoheaven. com/en/Welcome.html Floral: Vibrant Table Catering and Events, Page Winnograd http://www.vibranttable.com/ Venue: Aquariva Restaurant http://www.aquarivaportland. com/ Dress: Bridal Exclusives http://bri

Newport Oregon - Coast and Lighthouse Engagement Session.

A fantastic day on the Oregon Coast ! Newport Oregon is a jewell and, even if about 3 hours away from Portland, totally worth visiting (for pleasure AND for special photographic occasions). About one week ago, Josh and I drove south to Newport to meet up with our 9.10.11 couple, Ang & Craig . Newport means a lot to them and since we love to find new places to photograph our couples in, we were glad to be able to join them there! We met up in the evening (to take advantage of the warmer, sunset light) in Newport's old town area, where all of the historic warehouses and fishermen and breweries and little shops are. Right by the big bridge. A fun place to be, for pleasure and for photos. Lots of fishing related details, marine life related murals and, of course, the sea. After spending some time there, we got in our cars and went to the local, historic, beautiful lighthouse and tide pools area, on the actual beach. We had planned for the perfect time to meet in Newport! For t

Real Bridal Portraits. Country-Chic shoot on Sauvie Island.

This afternoon was a nice, mild, evenly lit day. Perfect for our Real Bridal Portrait Photoshoot with Samantha ! She is a Real Bride , who will be married later on in June. The wedding dress she chose to wear on her wedding day, is a different style from the one wore during the shoot today. She wanted the look and feel of her Bridal Portraits to be more on the Country-Chic side of things. And Country-Chic it was! ;) The vendors involved were: Photography: Alice of MoscaPhoto Location: Hawell Park, Sauvie Island, Portland OR Samantha: assistant editor at Oregon Bride Magazine (the model bride) Misty: Luxe Event Productions (the art director and planner) Karyn: Black Label Films (video production) Hailey: Zest Floral Design (provided the gorgeous bouquet and boutonnières) Charlotte's Weddings : provided the beautiful wedding dress The Party Place : provided the fun props Yen : for Sam's hair Kimmie : for Sam's makeup This is just a taste of the photos ta

Country-style, Sauvie Island, farm engagement session.

Finally! The sunshine and heat have decided to show up here in Portland... PERFECT for our latest engagement session shoot! The day was this past Saturday, June 4th, on Sauvie Island, at the fun Krueger's Farm . Old-growth cottonwood trees, red bards, hey and fields of (last season's) corn ;) Lise and Ben were great! She is native of Grand Cayman and wore a super fun, bright yellow, summery, flowy dress. Loved it for photos! Especially with the evening being so sunny and warm. Great choice Lise! AND thank you for getting your beautiful engagement ring all cleaned up for photos too! ;) Their wedding is right around the corner! July 10th 2011 is the date, and it will be at Red Ridge Farms in Dayton OR. Vibrant Table is the caterer (YAY!) and our DJ Moe will provide the beats (also YAY!). Love working with talented vendors and sweet couples...!
