Beth & Clint's Lincoln City, Oregon Coast Wedding Day and Trash The Dress Session

Image
Beth & Clint 5.25.13 B'nai B'rith Camp Lincoln City, Oregon We had a blast on their day! Staying the night of the wedding at their camp was equally as awesome. Josh got to hang with the party after hours and man... was it a partaaay! ;) The next day we even had an early morning trash-the-dress session on the beach. GAWD I love our couples! Here's their sneak peek with so many more coming soon on their private gallery! ** Friends and family! Destination Hawaii Wedding of Krystal and Nate!

Image
This wedding was a long time coming! We began their photographic story with Nate's surprise proposal to Krystal, one fine day last year, in Oregon's wine country. We then travelled back to Hawaii (where we had originally met, the year before) for a fun week with them AND to photograph them on the North Shore of Oahu and Waikiki. Now... their wedding! Only about 30 people celebrated with them this time around, and it was awesome! The weather was perfect, the beach was practically deserted and the two of them declared their intentions for all to witness. We even had an impromptu "trash the dress" session the evening of their wedding. It was all simply magical! We loved it and we love them and we are SO excited to share this post with you! A BIG thank you to our friend Eric Lee, whom we had met a little over one year ago in Waikiki. He came to the wedding, played and sang and was wonderful! AND a big special thanks to Jan, whom officiated their wedding! He's a...

Springhouse Cellar Winery, Hood River wedding & Sauvie Island "trash the dress" shoot.

Image
Sian and Jon live away from the Pacific Northwest. Being in the San Francisco area and not coming up here to visit too often, didn't allow us to easily get together and do and engagement shoot before the wedding. When we got to Hood River though, we immediately hit it off, not only with the two of them, but everyone else involved too! What a great bunch of fun and international and loving people they are! Not only that, Angel is the event coordinator for Springhouse Cellar ... so when she tapped on my shoulder and said HI! all dolled up and ready to be a bridesmaid, I was even more excited! It was fun seeing her be part of a wedding, versus running it! ;)  Springhouse Cellars is an amazing venue. Seriously one of our top three favorite places to photograph! Not only is the place amazing on it's own, Sian and her family and friends had the time and patience to decorate the whole place on their own, making it even more unique! Lavender and candles everywhere. Not to mention dr...

"Swamp The Dress" session in the swamps on Louisiana!

Image
That's right! Only open to 10 people, as per airboat capacity. I was lucky enough to be one of those 10. What an amazing experience! Surrounded by the beauty that is the swampy area of louisiana, just outside of New Orleans. Also surrounded by amazing photographers who took on the bride by storm! :) The model (bride) is our friend and fellow photographer from Atlanta, Shari Zellers. She married the love of her life last month and volunteered to "Trash The Dress" ("Swamp The Dress" - as all of us are calling it) for the entertainment of all of us. We had such a great time! The other amazing photographers who were involved were all friends of ours, part of our amazing Pictage family. Some of us had never met in person before, though we had been talking and collaborating online for many years. Photography conferences like PartnerCon are amazing opportunities to get to know other fellow photographers in person and to shoot alongside them and to partic...
