Char and Eric are FUN! We met up with them on Lewis and Clark College campus, where they met and went to school. The campus grounds are GORGEOUS! The old mansion is like stepping into the Old World with formal gardens and fountains and pools and old, mature greenery... perfectly manicured. We had a great time meeting them one early morning. They light was perfect and so was the weather: no rain and perfect temperatures (unheard of for springtime in Portland) ;) Here is their sneak peek. We are so excited for their wedding! This was yet another GORGEOUS spring day in Portland. The sky was beautifully dramatic ... Angie & Daniel were willing to be as beautiful and goofy as they felt like being. We love that! We love it when our couples get comfortable enough to "make faces" and not feel "weird" about it ;) We started off near the Ace Hotel in downtown Portland, walked over to Powell's Bookstore and then drove to the Eastbank Esplanade , on the east side of the Willamette River. That's where the sky went crazy! Dark billowing clouds came in from all directions, the sun was peeking through AND we even had a beautifully bright rainbow! Then... HAIL! Beth & Clint are soooo great! They are yet another of our upcoming 2013 wedding couples and yet another of our recent engagement sessions. They are sweethearts. They live in a cute home in SE Portland that they've been remodeling; got engaged at a nearby house where he used to live; she picked him up a a fun bar ( Rontom's ) in SE; they love nature and Portland parks. All this added to a full few hours of photography! Meet Tawny & Mike! They will marry this summer 2013 (4th of July weekend!) at the beautiful Gorge Crest Vineyards in the Columbia Gorge. They were super nervous for their engagement shoot this past week, but ended up totally relaxing and having a blast! We met at the hair salon where she got all done up ( Moxie at the Embassy Suites Downtown ), and walked through the Burnside/China Town area. It rained a little bit at first, but then it cleared up and we ended up having a beautiful sunny day.
