This is a little bit of a personal post. There's nothing wrong with being open and willing to share a bit of my own personal self with you too, right? ;) If any of you have read our about page here, you'll know that I was born in Roma and am an Italian citizen. Even if I've been in the awesome USA for 15 years, I love and miss Rome and when I decided to get my old album out of the shelf, I though to scan some of my old film images to show you here. I can't wait to go back to visit my family and friends and to take Josh with me too! Thanks for looking though this little slice of my world ;) <3

(ps: these are scans of regular 'ol 35mm 4x6 prints. they started off in color but had faded to something i wasn't happy with, so I applied a simple Sepia action to get them consistent. in case I have any technical people reading ;)

    Love these photos of bella Roma. I remember when I saw the Trevi Fountain for the first time; it's breathtaking! Hugs to you! :)

It's just SO fun meeting new couples who are adventurous and willing to "get down and dirty" on their shoots. We initially meet with our couples to share stories, so as to get to know each other well... to become friends! We always bond with our couples, but sometimes, we really truly see eye-to-eye. Like with Wendi & Danny ! We were joking around about being extreme photographers (right Sara?! :))) , and then realized that we were serious about 1) wanting to snow shoe to ice caves in the middle of the forests on WA state; 2) being willing, able and excited to carry our equipment and go all the way. Well... it happened! Just yesterday, in fact. We met up around 9am in Hood River, in the Columbia Gorge. We drove to Trout Lake, WA, got our Snow Passes for the day and then ventured on forest service roads, all the way to the end of the plowed area. Then came the snow shoes. Another absolutely awesome wedding day. WOW! Lea and Clark are super cute and super fun. We got to know each other on their engagement session near sunset, on a gorgeous sunny winter day, in Cannon Beach a few months ago ( here it is ). Ever since then, we've gotten to know each other even more via facebook and emails and... BAM! Their wedding came and went. Time FLIES! LOTS of details in this wedding! And everything was made by hand by Lea herself! A truly DIY bride. She made her birdcage veil, the feathery hair piece (which was her grandmother's brooch), the invitations, the table place cards, the ring pillow, bow ties... everything! Amazing! Clark is super creative too. He broke out his twelve-string guitar in the middle of the reception and played an elaborate and beautiful song for all to enjoy. Road Trip! To WPPI through back-country roads in the winter... WOW!

Hi everyone! Josh and I have been absent in the Blog-World... we know and apologize for it! ;) We have, however, been constantly updating our Facebook Page and hope that you were able to see the updates and progress of our road trip to Las Vegas as it was happening! Well, another amazing trip to the SW has come and gone. Josh and I visit the annual, giant, photography conference in Las Vegas ( WPPI ) every single year. Every year, it happens right around the end of February/beginning of March. Last year, we flew down for three days. This year, we decided to drive down! Portland , through back-country SE Oregon , through back-country Nevada , to Las Vegas . Then on our way back, we decided to take a little "detour" to the amazing Grand Canyon , in Arizona. I know... not a "detour" per se, sine it was about 300 miles in the opposite direction ;) It was worth the extra two days on the road... let me tell you!
