A wholehearted and fun engagement session on the Oregon coast.

Once again, Josh and I spent most of this past Sunday hanging out and photographing and getting to know one of our summer 2011 couples. Lea & Clark are SO sweet and funny and totally in love! They will be getting married at one of our ultimate favorite wedding venues in the area (Gorge Crest) on August 6th. They day cannot possibly come soon enough! We hit it off completely AND were incredibly lucky to have finally chosen a date for this shoot that had nothing but sunshine and gorgeous fluffy clouds... aaaahhh... the power of being able to wait for just the right day for a shoot! :)

We met up in Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast, right by the famous Haystack Rock. We had some fun on the sand and near the water for a bit; then decided to get in the actual town, to take advantage of the beach architecture. Cannon Beach is such a cute and quaint little town, love it there! We knew when the sunset was to happen, so after hanging around town, we drove out to the gorgeous Ecola State Park, just north of where we were, to welcome the gold and red colors of a Pacific Ocean sunset. 

WOW! What a beautiful day to be at the beach! And what a sweet and loving and fun couple Lea & Clark are... YAY for awesome couples!! :)

Another absolutely awesome wedding day. WOW! Lea and Clark are super cute and super fun. We got to know each other on their engagement session near sunset, on a gorgeous sunny winter day, in Cannon Beach a few months ago ( here it is ). Ever since then, we've gotten to know each other even more via facebook and emails and... BAM! Their wedding came and went. Time FLIES! LOTS of details in this wedding! And everything was made by hand by Lea herself! A truly DIY bride. She made her birdcage veil, the feathery hair piece (which was her grandmother's brooch), the invitations, the table place cards, the ring pillow, bow ties... everything! Amazing! Clark is super creative too. He broke out his twelve-string guitar in the middle of the reception and played an elaborate and beautiful song for all to enjoy. I even recorded it on video! :) The song was "Oceans" and it's from John Butler Trio. Beautiful! OK OK! i better start posting some photos! Here is a list of the

The most unique MoscaPhoto engagement session to date!

It's just SO fun meeting new couples who are adventurous and willing to "get down and dirty" on their shoots. We initially meet with our couples to share stories, so as to get to know each other well... to become friends! We always bond with our couples, but sometimes, we really truly see eye-to-eye. Like with Wendi & Danny ! We were joking around about being extreme photographers (right Sara?! :))) , and then realized that we were serious about 1) wanting to snow shoe to ice caves in the middle of the forests on WA state; 2) being willing, able and excited to carry our equipment and go all the way. Well... it happened! Just yesterday, in fact. We met up around 9am in Hood River, in the Columbia Gorge. We drove to Trout Lake, WA, got our Snow Passes for the day and then ventured on forest service roads, all the way to the end of the plowed area. Then came the snow shoes. All of our gear was in backpacks, along with Wendi & Danny's change of clothes and foo

The King Estate Winery wedding of Keri & Tucker

It's sneak peek time again, and this one is very exciting to us. We've been longing to photograph at the majestic King Estate for years! Well... on August 11th 2012 we had the chance; not only that, we had the pleasure of seeing and photographing our beautiful couple: Kerianne and Tucker! We were welcomed with open arms by all around: the fabulous staff at King Estate and K+T's friends and family. The sun was shining bright, a slight breeze was blowing and the sunset turned out to be stunning, too. It was a great day and we are so excited to show you this handful of images, while we edit the rest of them.
