Their wedding was at the iconic Cornelius Pass Roadhouse , east of Portland. The day started off with a very laid-back group of ladies and gents, getting ready and putting on the finishing touches with the decor. Then came the ceremony which was short and sweet. Then came the BIG group photo of all 200+ guests attending. Then dinner. Then... Dj Moe Funk TURNED IT UP and everyone (I mean EVERYONE) went right to the dance floor and stayed there all night long! This was one of the rowdiest groups of people we have every had the pleasure of photographing and we had a BLAST! - How many times can I use the word "blast"? ;) Here is a detailed sneak peek of the wedding day <3

Emily & Joel aren't going to be officially married until November 3rd of 2012... We were so glad to have had this early of an engagement session opportunity with them! We were able to pick a gorgeous spring day and had a blast getting to know them. We laughed, explored Krueger's Farm on Sauvie Island and played around with the beautiful puffy-cloud-sky that we were so lucky to get. A beautiful day and an equally beautiful couple! We can't wait for their wedding day at Skamania Lodge !

Meet Keri & Tucker. They are two beautiful people who met up with us yesterday for their engagement session. Following our suggestions, they dressed perfectly! Not only that, they are super sweet and always smiling. It was a challenge for us to find secluded areas at Portland's Waterfront on a (rare!) bright and sunny Portland saturday... but we were certainly aided by the fact that they are so loving towards one another and willing to follow us from place to place. It was a very very very fun time and we can't wait for their August wedding at the gorgeous King Estate ! Here are a few of the images taken with so many more to come! <3

Kris and Brian (and Sophie the pug!) were great to photograph. First of all, Kris is GORGEOUS! Secondly, the day was warm, sunny and beautiful. Thirdly, they brought Sophie the pug for part of their shoot! We love dogs and being able to include them in some of the photography is something we definitely advocate... they are part of the family! ;) The day was fabulous. Despite taking about half an hour to find each other in the park (haha!) we had a great time. We roamed around the Washington Park Rose Garden for a bit and then drove to the main library for some indoor, book-related photography. Here are just a handful of the images we took, with many more to come! Can't wait for their Bridal Veil Lakes wedding this summer!

MoscaPhoto exhibited at the 2012 NW Wedding Scoop at the Governor Hotel downtown, on both March 10th and 11th. The hotel was filled with great inspiration. I was a Platinum Sponsor for the show, meaning I was invited to speak at a VIP luncheon, on stage, to educate brides and family about the art of wedding photography. Not only that, I was also part of two Photography/Videography panels that was interactive and informative. I loved speaking in public, especially since I am an expert in the wedding photography field. Lots of great information was shared and I can't to have the opportunity to talk again! ;) These are some of the images I took of the second day of the show. FLOWERS GALORE! Misty and her team at Luxe Event Productions never cease to amaze me. Their Luxe Bridal Event earlier this month (at the Tiffany Center in NW Portland) was yet another fabulous, vibrant and fun event. Many local wedding vendors exhibited their talents for many brides to see. It was a packed event, with music, great energy and laughs. The main presentation to the public was an extensive collection of GORGEOUS handmade floral arrangements. 50 different bouquets were strewn throughout the floor and we had the honor of photographing each and every one of them. The floral inspiration at this show was high and we loved it! Be sure to visit the Luxe Bridal Event's site for a full list of all of the vendors involved. Lot's of information there! This was fun! Not only did we really get to know Erica & Ben personally, we had a blast exploring the possibilities of our go-to favorite hotel in town (the Jupiter yay!)... we walked around a few blocks and were surprised by fun murals and cool architecture... and finally we ended the session with a pint of beer at the Doug Fir. A fabulous (non-rainy, yes!) engagement session with an equally fabulous couple. Oh! And also meet Larry the Dog. A two-year old rescue black lab who is SO sweet! He won't be at the wedding, so we definitely had to include him in Erica & Ben's engagement shoot ;) Here are a handful of the images taken this past Saturday.  We can't wait for their wedding this coming September 29th 2012!
