Maya & Hideaki eloped with a handful of family members this past Friday August 9th, 2013. They flew to Portland from Tokyo and, together, celebrated the love between one another. We met at the always adorable Oaks Pioneer Church in Sellwood, OR to then drive to Washington Park Rose Gardens for even more portraits. Their officiant was the always lovely Sandy Shipley of Sage Creative  and we loved every minute of this day! Thank you Azuman o for organizing it and including us!

Char & Eric are MARRIED! We met them back in 2011 when they first contacted us for a consultation. We hit it off immediately and were ready to photograph their day the following year! Their date changed due to some logistics and FORTUNATELY we were still open on their second date. That second date came and went and it was glorious! :) King's Raven Winery is just outside of Portland proper and it's a great location for a wedding. The views of Oregon's wine country are majestic and there is plenty of space to explore for photos. We're excited to have this sneak peek ready because this was one of our favorite, DIY, simple, fun weddings to date! Lauren & Nick are married! August 3rd, 2013, Glenwood WA (a beautiful private cabin on gorgeous acreage). We finally have a detailed blog post for you to enjoy. This was one of our most favorite weddings to date! The entire group of people was so accommodating... the location was stunning and being able to spend the night in a beautiful cabin in the woods neat Mt Adams.... was priceless. SO peaceful! This was one big group effort. The whole wedding day was made possible thanks to hand made projects made by friends and family. Josh and I were there to photograph their day and Solstice Wood Fire Cafe' was the caterer. Emily and Jon were a blast to photograph! They were one of the few couples who still retained the tradition of not seeing one another  until the ceremony itself. I have to admit... there were some major tears all around! Plus.... we are total suckers for dogs at weddings and Leo-dog is one cool cat! I mean DOG! He never left their side... loved having him at their wedding. Once again, Gorge Crest Vineyards was simply perfect. Bloomsbury Flowers from Stevenson Washington created a wildflower-style floral decor which I loved! Patricia ( Gorge Hair ) did a beautiful job on Emily's make up and hair (thank you, my friend!). Focal Point Digital Media ROCKED the video part of the day and we can't wait to work with them again!
