Char and Eric are FUN! We met up with them on Lewis and Clark College campus, where they met and went to school. The campus grounds are GORGEOUS! The old mansion is like stepping into the Old World with formal gardens and fountains and pools and old, mature greenery... perfectly manicured. We had a great time meeting them one early morning. They light was perfect and so was the weather: no rain and perfect temperatures (unheard of for springtime in Portland) ;) Here is their sneak peek. We are so excited for their wedding! Emily & Jon (and Leo-dog) are two outdoorsy people (and dog)! ;) They hike and explore nature as much as they possibly can, so it was only obvious for them to pick this beautiful location for their engagement session.  Latourell Falls in the Columbia Gorge  is one of those places that leave a visitor in awe. It's right off of Historic Hwy 30 (after a little bit of a hike) and well work the time to get there! We wish we had had more time to stay in the Gorge for more exploring... can't wait to get back out there! Villa Medici  is a gorgeous structure, complete with formal gardens and majestic views of Rome. It's situated just above the famous Spanish Steps and it's the current location of my childhood friend's restoration job. She is in charge of cleaning and fixing and restoring marble statues, stucco, murals, and gesso (and more) within the villa. It was such an awesome private tour of this villa and her job site! I can't wait to go back to explore even more... we only had a few hours to roam around the property this time... not enough! ;) Here are some images of those few hours at Villa Medici, in Rome.

The Quick and Easy Boys are a great local Portland band that simply knows how to make people move! Any party where they are the musical act, is sure to be AWESOME! We have known them for several years and love each and every one of them personally, but we also LOVE their music and whenever we have a chance, we go see them live. Doors are beautiful to me. Especially if they are old. When I see them, I imagine the thousands of hands that may have pushed them open and shut them closed, throughout the years, decades, centuries. This is a collection of doors I came across in my last trip to Italy. Specifically, these doors are from towns in Umbria and Latium and Tuscany. I might just order one big poster of this for our home's foyer! 

We can only describe this wedding celebration day as an honor. It was a great night of love, laughter and live music!! We here at MoscaPhoto were the hired and official photographers for Chloe and Peter's wedding and will respect that honor by only publicly posting images that I have permission to post (the ones with people's faces in them are initially going to be private - I can't speak for those people who instagramed everything already...) ;) For now, I have asked them to be able to announce the night with this image of the 6 of us (Josh and I on the right, Misty and Greg (of Luxe Productions on the left) and Chloe and Peter in the center) and they were gracious and excited to have us put it up.
