We are a team of professional photographers based in Portland Oregon. We have decades of combined photographic experience, and we look forward to new experiences, no matter where in the world. Alice is fluent in Italian and Spanish and passports are current. Alice & Josh are the principal shooters and original owners of MoscaStudio (your point of communication). Kelly & Jim are our experienced & seasoned associate photographers.

Alice (Ah-lee-chay): 

Owner / photographer / the voice behind MoscaStudio, LLC

Italian citizen, USA resident, born in Rome Italy on 3.8.78. She has lived in Indonesia (7 years), Italy (4 years), Japan (3 years), Venezuela (4 years) and then finally settled in the USA in 1995. Since then, she's attended the incredible Verde Valley School (in Sedona, Arizona) and the University of Arizona (in Tucson, Arizona) for a bachelor in Archaeology/Dendrochronology. She lived in Scottsdale and excavated archaeological sites around the Southwest and the Mid-West. She then decided to move to the Pacific Northwest (in 2003) to officially pursue her photography passion (and be her own boss ;) Since 2003, she has been a successful, full-time professional wedding photographer. In 2013, MoscaPhoto won Oregon Bride Magazine's Best Wedding Photography Studio, Portland!

A personal note from Alice:

I like to think of myself as being smart and creative enough to know what I am doing, but open-minded enough to always be willing to learn and grow as a person ;) I love the following, in no particular order :) Joshy, My Dogs, Nature, Music, Yummy Food, Wholehearted Honest People, World Travels. I couldn't have come as far as I am now without being surrounded by a handful of select, loving, intelligent and inspiring people such as the love of my life Josh, my parents and my little sister who passed away in January of 2012. Without you, I would not have become the person I am today."

Josh (aka Joshy):
Photographer / Alice's partner in crime at MoscaStudio, LLC

Alice and Joshy are two peas in a pod! Soul mates and made for one another. It's unbelievable how connected they are, and how lucky they are to have run into each other at the time in which they did. Josh was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He has always been an artist at heart and a painter as a hobbyist. Alice not only fell in love with him, she also saw in him the potential to become a great visual artist, and to accompany her in her photographic journeys. He's been shooting alongside Alice, with MoscaPhoto, since 2008 and not only has he loved every minute of this line of work, he's amazing at it!

Josh has a deep and wise soul, one that is courteous, giving, fun, loving, intelligent and open to all possibilities. He has an uncanny natural presence about himself: very much loved by anyone he meets. What a wonderful attribute to have and a perfect MoscaPhoto personality :)

Kelly Segré & Jim Minics:
Associate photographers / Seasoned and professional. Based in Ventura, California. For the summer wedding season, Kelly and Jim will be living in Portland Oregon, photographing as MoscaStudio's associates.
