Every single wedding we have in our books, we look forward to.
We look forward to seeing out couples again, on their big day, and to finally meeting their friends and family.
With every wedding, its as if we gain our own new family! ;)
Lacey and Jonathan were special, though. We had met last year (2009) for the first time. It was love at first sight! They booked us, we because friends, always keeping in contact via Facebook and by meeting up for dinner and brunch around Portland... needless to say, Josh and I were OH SO HAPPY for their wedding day to finally come!
This past Saturday July 24th 2010 was the day!
They blended two cultures in one flawlessly and Lacey organized and created all of the little details you see in these Sneak Peek photos. Everything was her idea! She is so creative :) There were so many opportunities for awesome detail photos at their wedding... we loved every minute and every details of it!
I met up with Lacey at Hotel Vintage Plaza downtown Portland. We spent a couple of hours getting ready with makeup and hair and champagne. Then we all got in the stretch limo to be driven to the Portland World Trade Center. There, we gathered their stunning flowers and made our way to the waterfront where Jonathan was waiting to see her for the first time, all dressed up and perfect!
As a bonus, KGW Channel 8 (a local Portland news channel) was there to repost of the heat of the day and the fun activities happening along the waterfront. Well... one of these activities was Lacey and Jonathan's 1st look and portraits! We were all on TV and they were interviewed and WOW, what that awesome! This is definitely a first for us :)
We had fun with bridal party portraits, then Josh and I left with the two of them to drive to parks around the city for couple shoots and then... ceremony time! Short and sweet, lead by a family member, moving and touching. Just perfect!
The reception was just as fun! Upstairs at the World Trade Center, great light, beautiful architecture, fun music and awesome people. Having fun dancing and making speeches and celebrating Lacey and Jonathan's long awaited big day! After the end of the night sparklers, we asked 4 volunteers to spell out the word LOVE with said sparklers! After one try, we were able to achieve L O V ... O(??)... hahaha!! the E didn't quite come out, but you get the idea! LOL :) See that image at the end of this post :)
We are SO happy for you two! You are sweet and beautiful and in love and just perfect for one another. We are sad its over but glad that it finally happened! We wish you the PERFECT honeymoon in Hawaii and then look forward to seeing you again as husband and wife!
All our love,
Alice & Josh <3

what a great wedding!
Wow! I was astounded by the venue's architecture! It was really very nice; it makes me think of the Louvre Museum! It is cool to have such great architecture for event centers. In Denver Colorado, event venues have amazing interiors and architectures that will make you feel you're being brought to a new world or different era of Denver. Event spaces like these helps preserves memories and histories that people will look up to in the future.
